Veracity Communications began in 1987 as Off Campus Telecommunications, providing local dial tone and long distance to off campus student housing at Brigham Young University, Utah State University, Utah Valley State College, and Southern Utah University. As the Internet grew in the mid 90s, the founders recognized the need to integrate an ISP service for their customers. In 2001, Veracity Communications was formed to deliver local, long distance and Internet solutions to both business and residential clients. Most recently, with the emergence of VoIP, Veracity successfully launched its own VoIP product and was awarded contracts with iProvo and UTOPIA to provide service via fiber to select communities. During this time, Veracity has experienced tremendous growth and established a solid reputation by providing a wide array of telecom solutions that meet the varying needs of local businesses. Veracity has more than 10,000 customers, and is also the largest VoIP provider in Utah.
